Overview:

On March 25th, 2021 Jason & Scott were joined along with Ariel Jahn and Jon Trainer from Woodinville, a friend of the show Dusty Dan, and Patreon members Shawn & Troy.  They had 4 samples to select from and simply couldn't narrow it down any further than a final 2.  After much discussion, we got word from the distributor that we could take both barrels.  Please enjoy the Maverick vs. Iceman Picks.

Mashbill - 72% corn, 22% Rye, 6% Malted Barley

Age - All 5 years 1-month-old

• A - Barrel No. 4738, 119.04 Proof
• NOSE:  Apples/cinnamon fritter, baking spice peach, apricot, pear, syrup, some rye spice, dark chocolate espresso, sassafras, sweet oak, and mint
• PALATE:  Cherries, dark fruit, citrus notes, sweet oak, dark chocolate, terrific mouthfeel.  Effervescent.
• FINISH:  Black pepper, cinnamon, sweet pipe tabacco, appricot syrup, long lingering finish, long and lingering finish.

 Very balanced between the sweet and spice and long finish.
